Coins and weights
in ancient Greece were divided into talent, mina, drachma, and obolo.
They had the following relationships:

The drachma were
divided into these smaller units:
Decadrachm = 10 drachma
Tetradrachm = 4 drachma
Didrachm = stater = 2 drachma
The obolo (or
obolus) is divided up to the 1/8-obolo. The obolus was the sum
that one used for charitable deeds.
