A Machine that manufactures polished plates.

Ingot: An ingot is a slug of metal in the form of a rod, from which coins are stamped. In the olden days it was hammered to the thickness of the coin by means of hammers and rollers but today powerful machines are used.

Round: The words round, plate and disk have the same meaning at the "polished plate" stage of manufacture.

Blank (disk):
A blank is the raw form of a coin, i.e. a piece of metal which has been given the shape of a coin and from which the coin itself is stamped.
