This coin was very likely minted in Klazomenai, a city located partly on the mainland and partly on an island in the gulf of Smyrna, not far from modern Izmir (the antique city of Smyrna). The coin is a 1/24 stater, a coin of little value and thus made for every-day trade. It is rare, made of electrum and shows the head of a ram.
